Before starting his own practice, Lejon spent nearly a year at Ada County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as a Deputy Prosecutor and two years in civil litigation/criminal defense at one of the best law firms in downtown Seattle: Ellis Li & McKinstry PLLC.
While a Deputy Prosecutor at Ada County, Lejon tried numerous jury and bench trials to verdict and represented the State in countless contested hearings, court trials, settlement conferences, pre-trial conferences, probation violation hearings, mediations, and change of plea and sentencings.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Lejon was a United States Air Force Pararescueman and Combat Rescue Officer. He retired in 2014 as an O-3(E) with seven combat deployments and over 500 jumps—both freefall and static line—out of perfectly good airplanes and helicopters. During his last deployment to Afghanistan’s South Helmand Province, Lejon was a Team Commander and successfully led a team of Pararescuemen outside the wire on over 75 combat missions. His team provided life-saving trauma medicine to wounded men, women, and children from the battlefield before bringing them to higher medical care.
“Get fired up. Get fired up about today, today is awesome! You are not missing anything in your life. There’s no talent, no special little secret sauce that you’re missing, that you can’t achieve greatness for what you believe in. Keep going, keep pressing forward. Believe in yourself, have confidence you can do it, and fire it up.”– Lejon Boudreaux, Esq.
