Senior Litigation Attorney

ELC Legal Services is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to lead our business litigation and probate practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated matters from inception through trial while working directly with business clients to achieve strategic outcomes.


About the Role

You will serve as primary counsel on complex business disputes, providing comprehensive legal representation from pre-litigation strategy through trial advocacy. This position requires someone who can seamlessly transition between advisory work—helping clients prevent legal issues—and litigation when disputes arise.


Key Responsibilities


Litigation Management

  • Handle complex commercial litigation matters from case assessment through resolution
  • Manage probate and estate litigation cases
  • Develop litigation strategy and oversee all phases of discovery
  • Conduct depositions, argue motions, and represent clients at trial

Client Advisory

  • Provide strategic counsel to business clients on risk mitigation and dispute prevention
  • Stay current on industry trends and legal developments affecting client operations
  • Translate complex legal concepts into actionable business guidance

Case Management

  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Draft compelling briefs, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and manage case budgets

Qualifications


Required:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 7+ years of litigation experience with demonstrated trial experience
  • Strong background in business litigation (contract disputes, partnership disputes, commercial torts)
  • Experience with probate and estate litigation
  • Active bar admission in Idaho

Preferred:

  • Track record of successful trial outcomes
  • Business development experience

Estate Planning and Probate Attorney

ELC Legal Services seeks an Attorney with 3-5 years' experience in probate and estate planning. We are looking for someone who can manage time effectively, possesses excellent writing, researching, and communication skills, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.
