Mr. Starnes is an accomplished trial attorney with experience in varied civil matters. He represents corporations and individuals in complex litigation. Nathan has tried over 10 civil cases, argued numerous appeals and evidentiary motions and has a reputation as a formidable litigator.

He prides himself on being a detailed oriented litigator, considering a pragmatic and practical approach to resolving and addressing the complex issues facing his clients. Combining pragmatism, charisma and dedication has allowed Nathan to deliver strategic advice to clients and, if necessary, to deliver meaningful results at trial.  

Nathan has represented clients in State and Federal Court including the Idaho Federal District Court and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Nathan has assisted corporations and governmental entities including cities and counties across the State of Idaho in the defense of complex state and federal claims, including employment discrimination and wage and hour claims, § 1983 constitutional claims, age discrimination claims under the (ADEA), disability discrimination claims under the (ADA), land use, zoning and irrigation claims, and related matters. This work has included representing local and national corporations and individuals in commercial and contract litigation, agricultural litigation, land use and boundary disputes, DEQ compliance, trade secret, duty of loyalty and other business matters including shareholder derivative suits.
